In this chapter the author attempts to develop the theoretical underpinnings of a version of the mathematics and science curriculum with an emphasis on imaginative story-telling, reasoned argument based on these stories, counter-stories that expose the inadequacies of the original story, and the artful display and communication of scientific information.
