Very little attention has been given in Systems literature to the experience of Systems practice, despite the Systems community's collective espousal of reflection and learning cycles. It is too often assumed that, alone of all the participants in the problem situation, the systems practitioner has a clear agenda. This means that the systems practitioner has usually, until very recently, been invisible in models of the problem situation.
