Abstract

The part played by S. L. Rubinštejn in the evolution of Soviet psychology has already been discussed in the previous chapter, and the succeeding chapters will be entirely devoted to a systematic presentation of his ideas. In the present chapter we shall confine ourselves to a brief account of his life and writings.
