Abstract
IN OUR LAST discussion, we dealt with the question of whether or or not things exist and whether we can know them. To put it another way, we asked ourselves whether there is such a thing as truth. For correct knowledge is true knowledge. If one has known something then one knows that it is true to say that it is this or that. Today we would like to turn to another problem: the question, namely, what is truth? This old question, once asked by Pilate of Christ, is one of the most interesting, but also one of the most difficult philosophical problems.
