Abstract

The present paper is an attempt to exploit the term "transmitted information' in the concept introduced by J. Hintikka [1] and his school for evaluating graphical forms of data in association with the digital presentation of these data. The term "information synonymity', based on the concept of "transmitted information' and introduced by the author in [5], is used to compare the graphical and digital forms of the same data.
