Abstract

The Ehrenfels paper is mentioned at the beginning of these discussions out of two reasons: Firstly, I wish to give a summarizing account of its contents. Secondly, I owe, in fact, to his paper the impulse for writing the following. Thus, after reporting on its contents I will add what I can contribute to the solution of psychological problems which seem to me to be of fundamental importance.
